Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely holy and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that through the sin of one man, Adam, all creation became subject to the law of sin and death, and all men inherited a sinful nature; that for salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the grace of God, in the power of the Holy Spirit, through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, fully man and fully God; that He was immaculately conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and that He was tempted in every way just as we are and yet lived a life of sinless obedience whereby to credit perfect righteousness to those whom God calls to Himself; that He died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of lost men; and that He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, from whence He will return with power and glory.

We believe that the true gift of faith produces repentance from sin and obedience to God.

We believe in life after death; that there shall be a resurrection of the dead; of the saved into everlasting life in heaven and of the unsaved into eternal separation from God.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original autographs; profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Turning Hearts Ministries, Inc. is a non-denominational, Christian ministry. We affirm that we are to "teach what is in accord with sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1), and that sound doctrine is that which "conforms to the glorious Gospel" (1 Timothy 1:11 ), and that the basis for fellowship between members of the Body of Christ is, first and foremost, faith and love in Jesus Christ (John 17:1-23; 1 Corinthians 1:1-10 & chapter 3; Ephesians 4:1-16; Philippians 2:1-11 & 4:2-3).
